Is the free signature really free?+
Yes. The JPG needs nothing at all. For the transparent PNG and the SVG we ask for your email address and send you a link to your download area. The fonts are open source and the images you create are yours, also for commercial use.
What is a Professional Signature?+
Instead of a font, you get signature drafts designed individually for your name, each as SVG, transparent PNG and JPG, plus a practice sheet PDF so you can learn to write it by hand. It takes about 5 minutes of your time.
Can I digitize my own handwritten signature?+
Yes. Sign on white paper, take a photo and upload it on the Digitize page. We remove the background and you get a transparent PNG and an SVG.
Can I use the image as a legal signature?+
An image of your signature is not a qualified electronic signature. For contracts that require a real signature, sign on paper or use an electronic signature service. For everyday documents, letters, email signatures and forms an image is usually fine.
How do I insert the signature into Word or a PDF?+
Use the transparent PNG. In Word: Insert, Pictures. In Adobe Acrobat: Fill and Sign, Add signature, Image. In Mac Preview: Tools, Annotate, Signature. In Google Docs: Insert, Image.
What if I do not like the drafts?+
Request a free revision round. If you still do not like any draft, ask for a refund within 14 days. No questions asked.
Do umlauts and accents work?+
Yes. Names like Jörg Müller, Søren Østergaard or René Åberg render correctly in every style.
